My new book, due out in September 2015, is called “Starting Over: A Practical Guide for Women after a Money Crisis”
A money crisis can be caused by a divorce, a break-up, the housing market, and anything else that impacts your finances. I wrote this book for women who are starting over for any reason to help them learn to manage their money and not be dependent on anyone else.
Having to cope with the emotional toll of my own divorce in 2012, I witnessed first-hand the lack of resources available to help women manage their own money. Many women who wind up divorced are mothers who leave the workforce to care for families. With no personal income and the critical skills they lost while they were home, starting over was a challenge.
This book is dedicated to all women “starting over”.
My first book, Financial Literacy: Helping Women Help Themselves, was published in 2012 on Amazon and helps teach women financial literacy so they can gain the independence they need in order to avoid being mistreated by the market system and controlling men.
I believe that education is the key to independence, success and having more options in our lives.
Through my own personal journey and speaking with women, I realized just how uncomfortable they were in matters of finance and money.
I am passionate about helping women take the financial reins back in their lives and empower themselves.
